Happy Mother's Day!

This card says it all!  This card is made from the Stampin' Up stamp set "Mother's Love" .  I used my favorite "In Color" blackberry bliss along with the matching designer paper pack.  The little flowers I hand stamped myself to make my own designer paper!  The little flower stamp is included in the stamp set along with many others.  The inside of the card looks like this..

From the Herd

Well I am back and I thought this Stampin Up card made from the stamp set "From the Herd" would be perfect to showcase.  I am losing one of my bosses who is taking on another position and wanted to make him a special card from his team.  I thought this stamp set was perfect!  I stamped it in Versafine black ink and watercolored the "herd".  I used blushing bride for the pig, shades of baked brown sugar for the buffalo and the llama, daffodil delight for the chicken, soft slate for the goat and lost lagoon for the little bird.  The stamp set comes with several cute sayings which include 'from all of us', 'it's pasture birthday', ' party animals' and several more to fit many occasions.   You can find this stamp in our Occasions catalog which runs thru June 2nd.  Click on the right to view the catalog and if you want to order the stamp set or any other Stampin' Up project, click on the button to the right that says Shop my store.  Thanks for stopping by!

Sympathy card

One of my co workers Sandy just asked me what my card site was and I had to admit to her that I hadn't posted anything since Christmas! Now I have to thank her for motivating me to post a card I recently made.

Unfortunately my sister in law lost her mother recently and I wanted to make her a nice sympathy card.

I used Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and ink to make it.  The flower bunch comes from a retired stamp set but you could use any pretty flower arrangement for this type of card.The sentiment is from our petite pairs stamp set that has sentiments for many occasions.

I finished it up with a piece of our 5/8 Organza ribbon which is my go to ribbon for cards.

I wanted to post a card today.  This is the one I sent out to family.

I used two different Stampin' Up embossing folders and the ornament punch.  I used washi tape to make the ornament.  The sentiment was an old one I had that I love.

This card is made with the Stampin' Up Best of Halloween

Stamp set.  I made the background paper by blending different colors

together and then stamping with black ink.  It was a lot of fun making the background 

paper because each piece is colored a little different from the other.  The sunburst

pattern is a great way to highlight your focal design in the circle.  I had a lot of fun making this 

card and you could use this design for any occasion.

Sending Good Thoughts

Don't you love the bright colors in this card?  Coastal Cabana is the lovely blue/turquoise color.
You can see I used the polka dot embossing folder for some texture and the ever

Happy Thanksgiving!

This card I cased from Brandyscards.com.  It uses the Stampin' Up Truly Grateful stamp set to make your own designer paper for the background.  The colors include baked brown sugar, so saffron, and cajun craze.  I used the burlap ribbon to layer over the background paper and added the Happy Thanksgiving stamp from the Tags 4 U stamp set.  With the help of the matching label bracket punch, I was able to punch out the tag and add it on to a few layers to stand out over the burlap ribbon.  Someone told me the front looked like a Pilgrims belt!  I laughed and said it wasn't planned that way but what a great idea!   You can pick up any of these great Stampin' Up supplies by hitting my button on the top right and it will take you to my store!
