Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!
I wanted to post a card today.  This is the one I sent out to family.
I used two different Stampin' Up embossing folders and the ornament punch.  I used washi tape to make the ornament.  The sentiment was an old one I had that I love.

I hope all my followers have a wonderful holiday season!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
This card is made with the Stampin' Up Best of Halloween
Stamp set.  I made the background paper by blending different colors
together and then stamping with black ink.  It was a lot of fun making the background
paper because each piece is colored a little different from the other.  The sunburst
pattern is a great way to highlight your focal design in the circle.  I had a lot of fun making this
card and you could use this design for any occasion.
This design is being entered in to this week's Paper Plunge challenge.  Check out all the entries

Sending Good Thoughts

Don't you love the bright colors in this card?  Coastal Cabana is the lovely blue/turquoise color.
You can see I used the polka dot embossing folder for some texture and the ever
popular banner die to cut out the stamped saying.  I hope this bright cheerful card inspires some creativity in you today!  Remember, you can shop 24/7 at my Stampin' Up store or just look through any of the catalogs to the right to get some great ideas!  Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Stampin'!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This card I cased from Brandyscards.com.  It uses the Stampin' Up Truly Grateful stamp set to make your own designer paper for the background.  The colors include baked brown sugar, so saffron, and cajun craze.  I used the burlap ribbon to layer over the background paper and added the Happy Thanksgiving stamp from the Tags 4 U stamp set.  With the help of the matching label bracket punch, I was able to punch out the tag and add it on to a few layers to stand out over the burlap ribbon.  Someone told me the front looked like a Pilgrims belt!  I laughed and said it wasn't planned that way but what a great idea!   You can pick up any of these great Stampin' Up supplies by hitting my button on the top right and it will take you to my store!
This card is being entered into The Paper Plunge contest.  Check this out at ThePaperPlunge.blogspot.com.

Happy Mother's Day!

                                                      Happy Mother's Day to everyone.

I just finished making several of these cards for all my relatives and friends who are celebrating today!  I used the wonderful Watercolors Wonder designer paper from Stampin' Up along with the Flower Shop stamp set.   The sentiment doesn't come from Stampin' Up but was the only one I had to compliment the card.

If you would like to purchase the designer paper or stamp set, check out my online store by clicking the button to the right!  Happy Stampin'!

Hardwood fence card

I couldn't wait to get the Stampin' Up Hardwood background stamp to make this cute fence card!
I used the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch to make the cute flowers.  The fringe scissors that Stampin Up is selling now work great for making the grass on the bottom.

By the Tide

Looking for that masculine card that you can have on hand for birthdays and Father's Day?  Here it is!  This stamp set is Stampin' Up's By the Tide and it has some wonderful stamps in it.  Here you see four of the seven that come with it.  I used the Happy Birthday from the
Stamp set Bring on the Cake to add a sentiment but you can easily put Happy Father's Day on it for your favorite fisherman!  I used Night of Navy ink and card stock.

Happy Birthday card

OMG ...I can't believe it has been so long since I posted!  I have been making cards for the holidays and haven't made the time to post.  So I am making time now!  This is one of my favorite cards
that I have made.  I choose the background paper from Stampin' Up's Birthday Basics DSP (#130145) which has all these wonderful birthday patterns.  I made the candles from cut pieces of  the Designer Series paper stacks and the flames came from the wing of the bird builder punch (#117191).

I choose the Happy Birthday from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (#132070 wood, #126707 clear).  This set has 6 all occasion sayings in a fun font!  I used Raspberry Ripple for the card stock and the ink to coordinate with the colors in the background paper.I sponged around the flames and used dimensionals to give them some 3D effect.
I hope you enjoy making this card as much as I did.  Feel free to browse my store by clicking on the button to the right.
