A Nice Cuppa

How about a nice Cuppa tea?
This is Stampin' Up's "A Nice Cuppa" stamp set and designer series paper of the same name!  This is one of the lovely combinations of stamps and designer paper that goes together!  This is what sets Stampin' Up apart from other products!  You can let us do the coordinating for you so you do not have to worry about it.  You can order these items from our Occasions catalog which runs thru May 31st.  The stamp set, designer paper and coordinating paper can be found on page 35.  The ink color is one of my favorites, Melon Mambo.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my latest creation.
I think this will be a great card to send to my sister!

Oh Hello

It's been way too long so here is a card to say "Hello" again!
I have no excuse but I tend to go in streaks on and off.  I will try to do better!
This cute little guy is from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set which is
Part of the free stamp sets you can get during Stampin' Up's Sale-a-bration.
I used old olive green card stock long with the daffodil delight dsp paper.
I love the brightness of the card and how simple it is.

Just for you

This card was inspired by one that Angie did on ChicNScratch titled Floral Wing card.  I changed up the sentiment but followed her basic layout.  I used the new Watermelon Wonder ink and card stock.  The striped paper is the new envelope paper that Stampin' Up has come out with this year.  I chose it  because it was the only paper with the watermelon color at the time.  The ribbon is the new 1 inch dotted lace and adds a pretty softness to the card.  The beautiful butterfly comes from the Butterfly thinlit set and is cut out from gold foil paper.
The sentiment, Just for You is one of my favorites from the Stampin' Up Watercolor Words stamp set which has become one of my new favorites due to the style of the print.

Your So Sweet

Time to start blogging again with the holidays rapidly approaching!  This note card is made with the Stampin' Up stamp set 'Your So Sweet' and the thinlit set 'Mini Treat Bag' shown on page 57 of the annual catalog.  The stamp set includes the cute star above with the hello written on it and then you cut out the star inside of it with the thinlit from the mini treat bag set!  What a great idea!  I layered a piece of designer series paper under the star to give it some dimension and added the little punched hearts from the itty bitty punch set.  These are so fun to make and I will be making sets of these for Christmas gifts for my co-workers.  This card was made with Mossy Meadows, my favorite green color at this time.  If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or if you would like to purchase any of these sets, click on my store button to the right.  Happy Stampin'!

Long and Skinny

I recently saw a challenge on The Paper Plunge.com looking for Tall and Skinny cards.
How about long and skinny?  This card is 3 1/2 by 8 and fits in a #10 envelope.   I have been making starburst cards for a technique class and thought I would combine them for this challenge.  I have found the starburst design is great for all types of cards.  Once you put the starburst together you just add your sentiment for the occasion and some bling like the butterfly and you are ready to go.  There are several videos online that will get you through the steps to making a starburst card if you would like to learn them.  if you like the butterfly on the card, check out my Stampin' Up store where you can buy the Butterfly Basics stamp set or bundle which includes this lit dies to cut them out on your Big Shot or other die cutting machines.  Thanks for stopping by!

Congratulations

It is that time of the year when congratulations cards are needed.  Stampin' Up has a great stamp set designed just for such occasions.  Titled 'Bravo' this stamp set comes with many different ways to say congratulations!  I chose this one because of the unusual spelling of the word and the fact that it was written vertically and not the usual horizontal.  I used my favorite in color, blackberry bliss ink for the card along with the matching card stock and designer paper.  That is one of the wonderful things about using Stampin' Up products; everything coordinates!

If you want to find out more about Stampin' Up's products or to order the above stamp set, just click on the button to the right and order any time of the day or night!
