Trick or Treat File Folder Card

I just got my Stampin' Up order in yesterday and I couldn't wait to try out the new Envelope Punch Board.  You can make over 60 different sizes of envelopes with it!   I had a "play date" with my friend Amanda the other day and she showed me how to do these great cards that look like file folders! There are several videos out there on the web to show you how to do this.  The card looks difficult but it is really simple using the punch board.  I decorated mine with some retired Stampin' Up designer paper I had from last year.  The Trick or Treat stamp is one of four holiday designs in the 'Tags 4 You" stamp set on page 37 of the holiday catalog.  You can also buy the punch for these stamps as part of a bundle and save 15%!
Hope you enjoyed my "file folder" card.  If you would like to see more information on the Envelope Punch Board, click on the 'Shop at my Store Now" button to the left, click on Products then Tools in the left column.

Frankenstein Halloween Card

Now isn't he cute!  I can't say I came up with this card but I did find it online and thought it was sooo cute!  I am amazed with what people can come up with using the Stampin' Up products that they have.  The head is made from the Top Note Die!  Simply cut one out in green and one in black.  I used pear pizzazz in this card.  The black Top Note you will cut in half to make his hair.  Cut some jagged lines in the hair to come up with his bangs.

His eyes are made from punching out 2 circles in white with the 1" circle punch and  2 circles in
black with the 3/4" punch.  The eyelids are made with the 1" circle punch in the same green color.

Cut the circle in half for the eyelids.  The nose is also half a green 1" circle and like the eyelids, are attached with dimensionals to give them some pop!  I used my white gel pen to add the white of the eyes and a black marker to add the mouth and scar.  The background paper is some retired designer paper from Stampin' Up that I had leftover from last year.

If you have questions, leave me a comment.   Hope you enjoyed my "creation" as much as I enjoyed making it.  Happy Stamping!

This cards is a mixture of two of my favorite flower stamp sets, the new Flower Shop and the Mixed Bunch set.  These two are my favorites as they both have a matching punch that you can purchase to punch out the flowers!  No fussy cutting as I hear other demonstrators mention when they talk about hand cutting out stamp designs.  I used the Mixed Bunch for the background design and then the Flower Shop for the flowers on top.  I used Stampin' Ups dimensionals to give the top flowers some height.

The cute saying comes from the Chalk Talk stamp set.  It is one of many wonderful sayings in the set.  One of the others in this set include the Happy Big Day stamp which can be used for many occasions!  I love this one for the gift card sets I have been making for my family and friends.

I used one of my fav colors, Calypso Coral on this card.  It reminds me a lot of my house I used to    have in Key Largo, FL which was coral in color with teal trim!  Hey, it was the Florida Keys!  No
drab browns here!!!!!

Today I wanted to make a masculine card so I had out my " Need for Speed" stamp set with the sports car, boat, airplane  and ATV.  I recently won in  a contest the new stamp set "Yippee-Skippee" and wanted to use one of the sayings from it.  The one I choose just jumped out at me.  I had to agree that you can never have too much happy!  I thought this was a good saying for a lot of things including birthdays, promotions, or whatever could make you happy.

I added the sports car at the bottom but you could put anything there.  I used the die cut tag from the "Chalk Talk" bundle to attach the saying to the ribbon like it was a gift tag.

I hope this card inspires you to create something yourself.  Happy Stamping!

Everyone is talking about all the wonderful new products Stampin' Up has in its new catalog.  Last week I introduced you to the Chalk Talk Bundle with the Happy Big Day stamp.
This is another stamp from the same set.
'Just a little something for a very special someone' is in the shape of a tag.  If you buy the bundle, you get the die cut that matches it to make cutting it out a breeze!  I added a little ribbon and a button to make a hanger.  Along the bottom I added another piece of ribbon and then added some new "Candy Dots".  Candy dots come in all the same colors as our ink pads and can be added directly to the cards as I did on this one or you can put them on brads!  I used one of our colorful designer papers for the background layer.
It is so easy to make cards when you use your creativity and Stampin' Up's products!
